Jill spent her radio career in public broadcasting. Her start was at WYMS Milwaukee where she was a jazz announcer and News Director. From there, she was the original Program/Music Director at KEDM Monroe, Louisiana, at the time, the largest area in the United States not served by public radio. Next up was WKSU Kent, Ohio where she was a producer and air talent. This is where she earned her nickname, “The Queen of Cartoon Classics”. She is literally a Jill-of-all-trades having been a News Director, Program Director, Music Director, producer and air talent. She brought not only her dedication to the air but also her whimsy.
At MusicMaster, Jill was the Support Manager for over a decade before moving into Development, the review and testing of the software. As Support Manager she hired and trained front-line support staff and implemented procedures for the department. In Development, she worked closely with the coders to document user concerns. She was also heavily involved in testing new features and creating testing protocols. Throughout her time at MusicMaster, Jill wrote the documentation for their software and continues to do so as a consultant to the company.
